What route does the NC500 take?

The official North Coast 500 route begins in Inverness and heads west towards Kyle of Lochalsh, up the scenic west coast to Durness and across the most northerly stretch to John O’Groats then back down to Inverness again, covering a total of 500 miles.

The Highlands offer a fantastic natural place to play and it has never been easier to discover the best of the local area. Enjoy the landscape from the sea via daily boat tours on Loch Torridon.
