One of our, longstanding, visitors got in touch with the park on Wednesday, June 10th immediately after the Scottish Government had announced that July 15th would be the 'target date' for our industry to 'open up' again.
At that precise point, we were a bit in the dark as to 'what and how' could open up. It had been a frustrating time for us all, and clearly, the most important aspect was peoples safety... however, it made things difficult for us to plan ahead.
Having watched various other 'industries' open back up, we were already working on complete deep cleans throughout ALL facilities within the park. That was quite something, but we got there in the end (the fog machine was a challenge), and we are sure that you will find the place absolutely spotless.
Social Distancing Signage and various processes had to be put in place which, again, we managed to get sorted in time. We are waiting on some more signage to arrive, and we will get that updated shortly.
Anyway ... the previously mentioned call from our visitor resulted in them snapping up all 5 Octolodges (on the understanding that Government Guidelines might still change) for them and some family and friends (keeping the appropriate distance obviously). At the point of their visit, you could have three families with no more than 15 adults in an outdoor area - 2m apart. The children were all fine as most of them were 11 and under.
They sent us over some photographs. I'm sure you'll agree that it looks like they had a great (post Coronavirus) holiday at Noahs Ark Caravan Park.
See you all soon hopefully.
